Background --
Steve joined us in 1997 after working for a local accounting firm.
Steve is generally the first person you reach on the Team. He serves
as Senior Team Member and point man for most phone calls, scheduling
appointments, servicing accounts--changing addresses, setting up
initial appointments, handling requests for forms--and much more.
Steve is also a Registered Representative with his Series 6 securities
license.
Raised on the Central Coast, Steve is a Salinan Indian whose tribe
is from the Mission San Antonio area. After attending a vocational
school in Hollywood, California, he returned to the area in 1984.
A self-described "sloppy rhythm guitarist with a halfway decent
voice," he enjoys singing and playing guitar. He also has a
vast array of knowledge regarding films, TV trivia, comic books,
collectibles, and music.

Background --
My step-son, Stephen Hiltscher, joined the Cryden Team as part-time
Team Assistant in 1998, while still attending high school, and became
our full-time Service Associate in June, 2002. Stephen provides
valuable assistance with report and forms preparation, phone duties,
filing and other clerical support. Stephen passed his Series 6 licensing
examination and is a Registered Representative. Recently Stephen
passed his California Life, Disability and Health Agent Examination.
After graduating from San Luis Obispo High School, Stephen continued
his education at Cuesta College and graduated from Cal Poly in June
2006. Stephen leads an active life, which includes golf, wakeboarding,
fishing and backpacking.
